Our colour coded syringe labels follow the colour coding
guidelines* of the Association of Anaesthetists of Great Britain and Ireland
and are manufactured on pharmaceutical grade, latex free, material, with clear,
sharp, text and bright, solid, background colours to meet exacting standards in
every detail. Each box contains 500
labels presented in a custom made box that sits perfectly in our wall mounted
and/or free standing clear Perspex label container(s).

*Our syringe labels
follow the guidelines of the Councils of the Royal College of Anaesthetists,
the Association of Anaesthetists of Great Britain and Ireland, the Faculty of
Accident and Emergency Medicine and the Intensive Care Society in adopting a
nationally and internationally recognised colour coding system to help reduce
the likelihood of drug administration errors in critical care areas. The four Councils recommended the adoption of
the International Colour Coding System for Syringe Labelling in their May 2003
publication, a copy of which you can read Here. This publication was updated in June 2004 and
can be read Here. These syringe labelling guidelines were
reviewed in January 2011 and remain current.
Labels are grouped by drug category, identified with a
common, standardised, background colour as illustrated below.
