The adoption of the International Colour Coding System for Syringe Labelling was originally recommended in May 2003 and has been updated & reviewed on several occasions since; the most recent update was published in September 2022 and included improvements to the colour and design of many labels to ensure their clarity in use.  This update can be Read here.
