In response to the Patient Safety Alert released by NHS Improvement on 18th December 2018 titled “Risk of harm from inappropriate placement of pulse oximeter probes” We created this label that is designed to be adhered to the cable of the pulse oximeter probe as a clear reminder to clinical staff of the correct use of the probe. We have labels available for all types of pulse oximeter probes.
