Trek Iceland 2015 Challenge

This year we are delighted to be supporting our Operations Director, Julie Rhodes, and our friend Sarah from C4BMedia trek Iceland in aid of Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity. realne automaty online

Sarah’s little girl, Cerys, was born with half a heart (Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome or HLHS) and following three, thankfully successful, major open heart operations at GOSH continues to thrive under their wonderful care.

Having shared Sarah and Cerys’ highs and lows over the past five years, Julie had no hesitation in signing up for the challenge with Sarah back in November 2014 and the two haven’t looked back!

Not only are they both taking their training very seriously with early morning PT sessions, visits to the gym and long, long, walks every weekend, the two are also organising a presigious Charity Ball to help raise funds.

Their Charity FIRE&ICE Ball takes place on Saturday 11th April in the beautiful grounds of Essendon Country Club in Hertfordshire in their historic 16th century Grand Barn . . . . . . and with a host of wonderful supporters, an enviable list of tantilizing auction and raffle prizes and a fast growing guest list, looks like the place to be!

For more details on their challenge, their fundraising, their Charity FIRE&ICE Ball and Cerys’ story, which is of course the reason behind their efforts, please take a look at their dedicated website www.goshicelandtrek.co.uk or contact Julie Rhodes: julie.rhodes@waltersmedical.co.uk

Julie and Sarah wish to thank their main sponsors: Walters Medical, C4BMedia, JCA, BigDay Catering and Essendon Country Club for their generous support.
