Marketing Director

Julie worked with our Managing Director, Richard Walters, in a previous job for 14 years during which time she forged a great understanding of the UK medical market, which she put to great use as our Operations Director until 2022 when Richard asked her to concentrate solely on the Company’s marketing . . . . . something she had covered as part of her operational duties until then.

She was instrumental in all of the early marketing activity that placed Walters Medical on the map, having spent many a late evening assisting Richard (her brother!) from the business inception, whilst holding down her own full-time and successful career elsewhere.

Julie eventually joined Walters Medical on a full-time basis in September 2011 when Richard invited her to be his “right-hand man”; she’s never looked back – working alongside her brother brings her an enormous sense of pride and satisfaction which she truly treasures.

What you didn’t know?

Julie holds a full motorcycle licence (it’s in the veins!), is a trained fitness instructor and masseuse!
