Warehouse Operations Manager
Janis joined Walters Medical in 2025, following the company’s move to its new headquarters in Letchworth Garden City. The expanded facility, alongside our growing northern warehouse operation, marked an exciting period of growth for the business.
As part of this expansion, we were looking for an experienced warehouse management professional with strong expertise in warehouse management systems, inventory control, and logistics. Janis brought all of this and more, quickly establishing himself as a key leader across both our northern and southern warehouse operations.
He continues to play an important role in optimising efficiency, implementing best practices, supporting his team and maintaining the highest standards of safety and compliance.
Janis is known for his warm, approachable, and professional manner, making him a valued colleague and a trusted point of contact across the business.
What you didn’t know?
Janis is a dedicated Ice Hockey fan, so much so that he says his mood sometimes depends on game results! And if he’s stressed (by the game results), he tells us he simply starts another DIY project—we wonder if he finishes the DIY jobs he starts?!
